Basic sweeping and vacuuming is the best method to keep tile floors clean. However, when sweeping just isn't enough a light damp mop job is fine. Mopping can leave a residue on the surface so it is important to do a light cleaning with a mild, non-oil based product which has a neutral PH detergent. Rinse your mop frequently and rinse the area with clean water and a wrung-out mop after you are finished cleaning to help eliminate steaks or residue buildup. This will leave your tile gleaming, ready to show off to all your guests!
